五月人形とはなんですか。
男児の誕生を祝い、5月5日、端午の節句に飾るものです。かつて武家では、勇ましく成長できますようにと願いを込めて、甲冑や刀などを飾ったことから、現代でもお子様の健康、成長、子孫繁栄の祈りを込めて飾られています。
